The National Anti Corruption Commission (NACC) expects to rule on the PM’s rice mortgage scheme fraud case on May 15th, assuring the public that the commissioners would carefully consider all the available evidence while maintaining impartiality and freedom from political influence.
The NACC Secretary General Sansern Poljiak made the comment, saying his agency would reach a conclusion on the case on Tuesday, before reviewing it on May 8th and issuing a ruling on May 15th.
Meanwhile, an NACC commissioner, Vicha Mahakhun, told the media that the case does not post any concern to the anti-graft agency, as it has been carefully processed using all the facts available to the commissioners. He reassured the public that a ruling in the case does not have a hidden political agenda as the NACC is an independent agency.
