The Ministry of Energy has said that natural gas power plants in both the western and eastern sides of Surin will shut down for maintenance and natural gas will not be supplied from 13 June–10 July 2014.

Surin Province is asking for cooperation from the public to consume less power during this period. Also, less consumption will reduce the expenses for families.
